Implementing Integrated Management

Tergooiziekenhuizen (Tergooi Hospitals) is a Dutch health care institute with hospitals on two different locations, namely Blaricum and Hilversum. With 3000 employees, Tergooi Hospitals wanted to belong to the top five of best hospitals of the Netherlands in 2010. To realize this ambition Tergooi Hospitals worked together with VisionWaves to further professionalize their integrated management.

Challenge

Tergooi Hospitals needed assistance with developing and implementing Performance Management (Integrated Management).
 

Approach

• Assistance by modeling and using VisionWaves.
• Set up of overall management mechanism at board level by introducing Value Chains.
• Set up of Balanced Scorecards (health cockpits) for 5 clusters, 32 specialism and 8 departments.
• Visualization of all processes (incl. Health Paths) and their mutual relations in VisionWaves.
   

Results

• Developed Value Chain.
• The health paths are operational and secured in the P&C cycle (will be used in the quarterly review).
• Two health paths digitalized in VisionWaves and implemented at the department.
