1. How does VisionWaves Delta differ from a dashboard?

   VisionWaves Delta has a dashboard but dashboards are passive devices – they provide information in the form of dials. Dials are useful, but the VisionWaves Delta takes the next step by adding a dynamic capability; it has levers to put actions in place in response to information from the dials; this is based in the Deming Cycle – plan, do check act – which is automated in Delta. A good analogy here is an airliner cockpit – dials are useful, but so are the levers!

2. Where does all the data come from to drive the Delta platform?

   Generally the data will come from systems that you already have. We interface to these systems (from an ERP, to Cognos, to SAP) by applying the relevant industry standards – all of which are already developed, making the implementation quick and less expensive.

3. How do you implement VisionWaves Delta and how long does it take?

   We like to precede an implementation with a low-cost 3 to 4 week workshop- based Pilot Project during which we prove the concept to you and evidence the return on investment. We are confident that after the Pilot Project you will be convinced of the added value of our VisionWaves Delta Platform and then extend to a full implementation. An average implementation will take approximately 6 months, but you will have your first management cockpits up and running within the first week. It is our strategy to transfer our knowledge to your team during the implementation in order to create a Competence Center within your company that will be able to fully customize Visionwaves Delta based on your own needs. This will suppress any additional cost for making changes to the business model, since you can do it yourself as many times and to any extent you like!

4. Does your software replace (parts of) our existing ERP?

   We can be clear on that: No, it does not! Actually, we need an ERP on which to base our Platform. The VisionWaves Delta platform “sits” on top of your ERP to unlock the business value from within it and show these values to you against the full context of your business (Value Chain). This will enhance the value of your existing ERP because the data that is stored in it, is put to good use and flaws will be easily identified. After installing VisionWaves Delta you can make the “garbage in = garbage out” statement redundant, since it just will not occur anymore. We make sure that the right data gets put in by supporting the user through the use of workflows that are modeled within the VisionWaves Delta software and are aligned with the company’s strategy. Workflow steps can then be linked to the transactional system and all the documents that are required to ensure “value in = value out”.

5. What are the quick wins that we can achieve?

   When the solution is implemented at your airline company, one of the first things you will notice is that you feel in control. The VisionWaves Delta Methodology provides an integrated view into your business and provides an easy means of identifying the problem areas and so helps to focus attention to the right things. Resulting actions will have an immediate impact on throughput of processes and hence save cost and improve performance.
