SME (PMO & Programme Management)

This role carries a dual mandate. Internally, you are the Product Owner for your domain module - defining features, owning the roadmap, and collaborating with engineering to build a product grounded in real enterprise practice. Externally, you are the Product Champion - guiding enterprise customers through deployment and helping them configure the platform to their specific context. You do not need to be a software developer. You must be digitally fluent, comfortable with enterprise software ecosystems, and genuinely curious about how AI and automation are reshaping your domain.

• ·Define and own the PMO module roadmap - covering project portfolio management, programme management, project planning and tracking, resource management, dependency management, and benefits realisation
• ·Ensure the module supports multiple delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and scales from project-level tracking to enterprise portfolio governance
• ·Define AI capabilities: delivery risk scoring, resource demand forecasting, schedule optimisation, AI-driven portfolio prioritisation, and benefits realisation prediction
• ·Benchmark against leading PPM platforms (Microsoft Project Online, Planview, Primavera P6, Clarity PPM) and define differentiation - particularly the integration of PMO with strategy and operations modules
• ·Own the PMO feature backlog and write functional specifications in collaboration with engineering

• ·Lead PMO module deployments at enterprise customers - facilitating portfolio governance design, configuring project taxonomies, resource pools, reporting frameworks, and stage-gate processes
• ·Engage with CPMOs, programme directors, and PMO leaders at enterprise customers during adoption
• ·Collect delivery methodology variations across customers and translate them into configurable platform capabilities

• ·10+ years in programme management, PMO leadership, or project portfolio management at a large enterprise or consulting firm
• ·Deep expertise in portfolio governance, programme delivery, resource management, and benefits tracking
• ·Hands-on experience with PPM platforms - Microsoft Project Online, Planview, Primavera P6, Clarity, or equivalent
• ·Working knowledge of agile and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) alongside traditional programme management
• ·Understanding of AI in project management: predictive delivery analytics, resource optimisation, risk early warning
• ·Ability to engage with CPMOs, CFOs for business case governance, and project delivery teams

• ·PMP, MSP, P3O, PgMP, or equivalent certification
• ·Experience in PPM product management or implementation consulting
• ·Exposure to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) at the enterprise level
