SME (Strategy, Planning & Portfolio)

This role carries a dual mandate. Internally, you are the Product Owner for your domain module - defining features, owning the roadmap, and collaborating with engineering to build a product grounded in real enterprise practice. Externally, you are the Product Champion - guiding enterprise customers through deployment and helping them configure the platform to their specific context. You do not need to be a software developer. You must be digitally fluent, comfortable with enterprise software ecosystems, and genuinely curious about how AI and automation are reshaping your domain.

• ·Define and own the Strategy & Planning module roadmap - covering corporate strategy management, OKR frameworks, business planning cycles, portfolio management, and alliance management
• ·Translate strategic planning methodologies (Balanced Scorecard, OKR, Hoshin Kanri) into scalable, configurable platform features
• ·Define AI capabilities - scenario modelling, strategy execution scoring, portfolio optimisation - and how they integrate into the module
• ·Own the product backlog and write functional specifications, collaborating closely with engineering and design
• ·Ensure the module reflects planning best practices across different corporate maturity levels

• ·Lead strategy module deployments at enterprise customers - facilitating strategy alignment workshops, configuring OKR hierarchies, and integrating planning cycles into the platform
• ·Act as trusted advisor to C-suite and strategy function stakeholders during adoption
• ·Capture customer-specific strategic frameworks and feed insights back into product evolution

• ·10+ years in corporate strategy, business planning, or strategic portfolio management at a large enterprise or management consulting firm
• ·Hands-on experience with strategic planning frameworks: OKR, Balanced Scorecard, Hoshin Kanri, MBO
• ·Familiarity with enterprise strategy or portfolio management tools (Cascade, Quantive, SAP Strategy Management, or similar)
• ·Understanding of how AI supports dynamic planning, strategic scenario analysis, and execution tracking
• ·Ability to engage with boards, C-suite, and planning teams; translate strategic intent into structured platform requirements

• ·Management consulting background with a strategy practice
• ·Exposure to capital allocation or corporate portfolio management frameworks
• ·Knowledge of enterprise or business architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate)
